Management of the curb space allocation in urban transportation system

Curb space management and traffic flow are two important elements of the transportation system that interact with each other affect overall performance. With growth new mobility operators goods delivery, demand for access to curb is increasing rapidly. Thus, traditional use solely parking challenged it becomes manage effectively. Our study investigates allocation various uses (i.e., parking, pickup/drop-off, loading/unloading) so performance can be enhanced. We simulate analyze interactions between usage by investigating impact on congestion spaces different uses. build an optimization model determine dynamic decisions ensure a smooth flow. objective maximize cities' profit from minimization delay. further evaluate value policies over fixed-allocation find result in improvements delay total distance driven.
